We offer individualized educational programs for children 8 weeks through 12 years of age.

ABOUT OUR OWNERS
Kids ‘R’ Kids on Serene is not a corporation, we are a family serving families. Since 1999, under the daily direction of Debbie and Michael Thompson PhD, we have had the honor of being a part of thousands of children and their family’s lives. “One of the most amazing things after being open for some 11 years is that we now have children that began their journey in our school as infants, have grown up, and now have graduated out of our Private Kindergarten Program”.
At our front desk there is a sign that speaks to why we love what we do so much, “ In life there is no better gift than to make a difference in the life of a child”
Debbie Thompson’s dream began during her days studying early childhood development and subsequently receiving her teaching credential some 20 years ago. “I can still remember how much I loved working with the young children and pre-school students during my internships as well as during the time of creating my college senior project”. Little did Debbie know that the work she would do in developing a model for one of the first safe key after-school programs in the state of California, along with her ongoing love of children would become her life’s career.
